Brother Tombong,

It's being alleged that your "independent" public
media organ GRTS has refused to inform our nation
about the criminal conviction of APRC NAM Musa Suso
for drug-peddling. I suppose you don't see that case
as "news-worthy." One has to wonder why? The UN's
just-released list of people identified as
de-stablizers of our sub-region include -surprise,
surprise- our own very colorful Baabaa. Yes, my own
big brother, the Most High, Mighty, Revered, and
Untouchable Baabaa Jobe; Father of Women Kaffos all
over Gambia, Ambassador Extraordinaire, Adviser to The
President, Minister Without Portfolio, De-facto Number
Two Man, Plenipotentiary 'Speciale'... Because I'm out
of time, I can't list all the brother's accolades. But
my point is brother Tombong, are you going to inform
Gambians about this news? If no, can you tell us why
not? Just curious...

Ebrima: your man has his eyes to the ground. I was
running through the list a while ago when I came upon
Baabaa's name. For a minute, I thought it was a
mistake. That the Jobe they meant is Baabaa's younger
brother. But these guys have their facts straight
because among Baabaa's innumerable titles, roles and
accolades, is "Director of Yaya Jammeh Airline" and
"Diamond Dealer." What a difference seven years make!
Let's see how they'll try to put a spin on this one
too...

Saul.
