Well said Karamba.

This is the reason that when the provincial stooges who peddle the so-called
progress Jammeh has made, and name the empty hopitals and Cuban doctors, i
wonder why Zainab and baby Jammeh do not avail themselves of this fine
healthcare system that Yaya is taking credit for, instead of squandering
millions of dalasis for these trips.
Travelling to Kiev is almost laughable because those people are doing
everything under the sun to establish trade and other economic ties with the
U.S and other countries to rescue their ever dwindling economy.
Therefore, it is clear that the per diems and the jet setting is the only
reason that Jammeh takes these trips, coupled with the fact that he wants to
give the semblance of having ties with a lot of countries when people all
over the World already know the plight of these economically strapped
countries he travels to that can harldy help themselves much less anyone else.
Zainab Jammeh's trips and shopping sprees must be a bribe that Jammeh throws
her way to keep her, and she knows a good bargain when she sees one.
It is truely amazing that there are still people in The Gambia who can
justify the regime of Yaya Jammeh and it's devastating effect on our people
and country. These people have a fine arrangement and this is why they will
kill, maim and lie to continue this highway robbery.
How in God's name can the leader or any official of a country justify
senseless spending like this, much less our country? Even the president of
the United States does not dare to be so extravagant, not to mention
irresponsible. We need to get rid of the Jammeh regime before our country
goes totally bankrupt.

The Gambia government spends tens of thousands of dollars in jet
fuel, landing fees, accommodation and perdiem for the entourage. The
exclusive Washington Hospital Center where Zainab had her baby and continue
to get post natal care bills out thousands of dollars to the Gambia
government. This does not include the hefty bill incurred when she stayed in
the pricey maternal suites in the days before and after her delivery.
