Oko,

Are you not being overly harsh our sister? I am sure she represented us to
the best of her abilities; and does the mere fact that she was chosen to
represent us show that she's probably the best we've got?

I agree, more priority should be given to our athletes and in that sense
the sports authorities are the culpable ones and not necessarily Adama
Njie, which BTW is her name.

When she came round the corner in what seemed like an eternity after the
others had finished, I found myself saying to her: "at least: 'yaa nyu
wattal sunu waagi' ".
