Announcement: Fifth Harvard University Forum on Islamic Finance

The annual Harvard University Forum on Islamic Finance is traditionally
held following the year's World Bank/IMF meetings. Last October's
meetings were cancelled in light of the September 11 tragedy, and we at
the Harvard Islamic Finance Information the Fifth Forum decided to
postpone the Fifth Forum as well.
We are now pleased to confirm that the Fifth Forum has been rescheduled,
and shall be held on April 6 and 7, 2002, at Harvard University in
Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is expected to draw an array of leading
academics, dignitaries, Shari`ah scholars, economists, and financiers, in
addition to interested students and community members. We plan to send
out the revised Program of Events within the next few weeks.
Earlier registrations are still in effect. If you did not register last
October, please do so online at (http://www.hifip.harvard.edu) or by
returning this e-mail with the form below completed.
We deeply appreciate your support, involvement, and goodwill, and I look
