Mr. Jammeh,

I wish to take this opportunity to, personally, welcome you to the List. I think
your contributions, without threats and intimidations, will be of great
service to the Gambia. There are issues discussed on this forum of which you are
the only living being who can give answers to them. On behalf of "many"
Gambians living abroad, I implore you to stay on the Gambia-L and help us
clarify certain issues. Please do not be dissuaded by certain comments, but to
discuss with Gambia-L on issues that pertain entirely to the governance and
democratic aspects of our beloved country.
All I ask of you is to sit down in Kaninlai, Dobong or anywhere in the Gambia
and give honest and truthful answers to our questions, for there are too many
unanswered question about the running of our country. This you must do with the
realisation that ALL Gambians, both your supporters and opponents, are striving
for the betterment of the country. I have so MANY questions about what is
going on in the Gambia and as I have said, earlier on, you are the only one who
could give an
honest to. Please note that you are not under obligation to answer any
question, but for your good name, I think it will be prudent to respond to all
questions regarding the direction you are leading the Gambia.
My first question to you is:
Can you confirm or deny that Tamsir Jasseh was dismissed as Deputy Inspector
General of Police because he was suspected by your government of being one of
Ebrima Ceesay's sources on Gambia-L?

Hoping to hear your honest and truthful answer.

Prince Obrien-Coker.

P.S.
I could have sent this mail privately, but knowing that so many Gambians also
have questions for you, I consider it fit and proper to use Gambia-L as a
conduit to expose your honorable intentions for the prosperity of the Gambia.
