I join list members in saluting Ebrima Sillah and the GPU for rejecting out
of hand this ridiculous and illegal attempt to gag the private media. Yahya
Jammeh is nothing but a murderous tyrant singularly focused on enslaving the
Gambian people. No one other than ourselves would do the very necessary job
of resisting him and ultimately bring his creul and evil schemes to a
screeching hault. The private media have been at the forefront of the battle
to make Gambia a better place . We shall give them our strong support.
