Tombong,
That sound interesting. I must say that I am glad the government is trying to
focus on the health sector. Health is so expensive and attempting to do
something about it is not easy either. I know that here in the States, there
are so many poor families really having it very difficult to get health care.
For a third world country, I wish we could focus more on the prevention of
diseases that cure. It certainly is cheaper.
On the AIDS/HIV issue, the whole world has a lot to do. I was lucky to be
recently involved in a research at a local hospital here on some new regimens
for AIDS/HIV victims, and I was just surprised how many of those patients
could be viewed very healthy by seeing them in the streets. And most of these
victims are homosexuals, drug users and blacks. Obviously not all of them
were.
God help us.

Ousman Jallow Bojang.
