Your review of Mandela’s Other Children is dexterous and timely in
relation to the verdict of a couple of days ago on Lamin Fatty’s case.
Thanks for sharing your analysis of this treasure by Baba Galleh. For
those hesitating on grabbing a copy, you’re missing out on a three
dimensional reading experience that will plunge you into the past, present
and futuristic first hand experiences of an eloquent narrator. You
instantly find yourself literally cuddled in a cold bared concrete floor
of a compact solitary confinement of the NIA torture chamber. In Mandela’s
other children, the barrier between experience and narration is craftily
broken to indulge the reader.
Keep up the wonders Baba and for the rest…grab a copy for the sake of your
children …
