MADAM ZEINAB’S MEDICAL BILL

If the figures we are getting from our online commentators are accurate, then let us make some derivations out of the package.

The cost of the first lady’s package is estimated at $100,000.00. (Courtesy of Allafrica.com) Further, the rate of the dollar ($) to the dalasi (D) is 1:20($1.00=D20.00)

Therefore, 100,000.00 x 20.00 = 2,000000.00 (2 million dalasis)

Even if the president’s salary is $50, 0000.00 dalasis per month, it would have taken him 40 months to save that much money without spending a butut out of his salary.

Now we ask: Where did Jammeh get this money from? What is Jammeh’s spending?

Further we ask: Why would Yaya Jammeh, the great ‘MMB’ take his wife to a US hospital to deliver a baby when he is busy curing diseases that don’t have cure anywhere else for e.g. HIV AIDS?

Also we ask: With the diplomatic immunity for government officials, why would Jammeh insist on fighting for his children’s US citizenship, notably the case for his first born?

CONCLUSION: First, we can conclude that the money is duped or emanating from God’s World Bank in mockery. Secondly, Jammeh doesn’t pride our hospitals, even though he constantly insults the west and acted like he despised western medicine. Thirdly, Jammeh might be calculating his aftermath for his children.

It will be interesting to see Yaya Jammeh in a court box while being cross-examined by a special enquiry commission telling people about his earning and spending. That day almost look like it will never arrive. I am sure many are not interested in these figures because for them, human rights violations are their priorities. But how can such be ignored?
