Indeed a very interesting year for soccer with the turn of events. To answer
you question as to wheather there was an Arsenal player in the England set-up
against Germany, there were infact three:  Sol Campbell, David Seaman and
Ashley Cole.

England conceded only one goal thanks to the Arsenal trio! Laughs!! Seaman in
goal with some brilliant saves? Cole on the left back with nice and cool
overlaps? and Campbell cleverly stopping the Germans?

Does it still look as if there were no Arsenal players in the field? I wonder!
