Abdou, thanks for this forward. To my fellow Gambians, is this really a
gift? How can someone steal from the people, push them to begging and then
turn around to give them trinkets? What is in essence called a gift is
nothing more that selling our integrety as a nation to the very person that
robbed us blind. If we want to deal with the alledged theft of 100 bags of
sugar and rice respectively, how about the thief that stole millions from
from the people? How come that aspect of the stealing circuit is not
covered? let's do the math here, shall we? 1000 bags of rice at D650 per
bag comes to D650,000, times 2 (assuming a bag of sugar costs the same), it
come to D1,300,000. That is only in one district and excluding our dear
journalists. Now, let's say he replicated this feat in 50 other places, it
comes to D65,000,000. Now, have I got a question for you. How many years
must Jammeh work at his current salary to cough up D65,000,000? If his
salary does not justify this expenditure, then where the hell did he get the
money from? I will leave our journalists with integrety to help us with the
answers to these. Folks, we are our worst enemy and we are a beggar nation.
  Very sad indeed.
