Pap,
I had wanted to refer you to Article 13, Sections 1 to 5 of the Gambian
Constitution, - the so-called Indemnity Clause - to see for yourself why
suing Yaya Jammeh NOW is almost impossible. (Please acquaint yourself with
the Pinochet story.) Raka, I would like to explain it to you in a manner
closer to our understanding, that is if you are also a Football lover. You
see, Jammeh, through his legal parasites, used the Football referee's laws
to formulate his "Get-Away Clause."
The Football referee has a LAW with two sections namely:
(Section 1) - The referee is ALWAYS RIGHT.
(Section 2) - If you disagree with the referee, see Section one.
Get it?

Now, Art 13, sect 1 says:
"No member of the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council, any person
appointed Minister by the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council, or other
appointees of the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council shall be held
liable either jointly or severally for any act or omission in the
performance of their official duties during the administration of the Armed
Forces Provisional Ruling Council. "

This is Legalese for Section 1 of the Football referee's law, above.
The rest of the 4 Sections of Article 13 are the Football referee's Section
2.

According to Momodou Buharry-Gassama, this was "taken from the draft
Constitution". If this is in the adopted Constitution, then there are
LOOPHOLES to let these people pay for their crimes.

Article 13 (The so-called Indemnity Clause) was posted on 6 January by
Momodou Buharry-Gassama. (Thanks to him) Please take a good look at it,
maybe you will understand why it will be difficult to persecute Yaya Jammeh
NOW. Please browse through your mails to 6 January 2000 at 11:24 AM, if you
are living in Europe, otherwise let me know and I will send it to you.

I hope you can see more in my explanation.

Prince
