Good points. I believe that we have vilified the Jammeh regime (not to say
that they do not deserve the 'tyrannical' tag) so much that the basic fight
has been lost amid all the hullabaloo and brouhaha: Gambians are truly
willing to vote for what they perhaps regard as the lesser of two evils: the
APRC regime. Like you, I truly believe that the UDP will be routed during
the next upcoming election and that only a United Opposition will suffice.
Actually, if all fails with respect to getting all three parties together,
plans for a united force against Jemus should go ahead without 'waffling
PDOIS', as I like to call them these days.

Anyway, this is my two cents on this issue. You have raised some pertinent
issues and now is the time to think outside the box and speak the truth.
There is no need to baby the opposition as is the case with all these useless
trips to the Americas. We cannot lightly chide them as some have posited.
They have to be made to understand that, while we admire their heroic stand
against Sultan Dirimo, we are far from happy with their performance,
particularly their numerous foibles of late..
