Saiks,
I know you remember all these things. I am not surprised. You have been in
this struggle long and some of us who might just have joined the gang may not
know all of those you mentioned.
Saiks, it is very true that Jawara and his forty thieves are doing all that
is possible to sneak in to Banjul, but I can predict to you that will NEVER
happen. They are free to mask as UDP or any other party, but the Gambian
people are not going to allow that.
I have read here that the merger parties meeting in Brikama was well attended
and that should send a message that they are going to win. May be this could
remind some of you who have been in the scenes long, that a successful rally
does not mean anything in the Gambian polls. Curiosity and interest are
different things.
The Gambian poor people who not a lot have changed for them for all their
life, will not vote for a Jawara comeback. Sure most of those who might be
advocating for a jawara comeback are those Jammeh kept saying he "stopped
their picnics." I am glad that happened.

Ousman Bojang.
