Mr Sey;
I think you completely miss the point. I doubt there is anyone who opposes
Yaya Jammeh just because of his person. I, like many other Gambians,(also when
with some sceptic) felt somehow liberated from the one party show which lasted
over three decades. Naturally all Gambians no matter of political level
consciously or unconsciously expected from Yaya Jammeh and his government to
bring about a progressive change for a better Gambia. Rather unfortunately you
fail quite sort of these expectations after six years.

I am not very frequent on the list but i do read some of your postings. What
i cannot understand is why a person like you should waste his time and energy
by defending a corrupt, incapable and mismanaged regime like that of Yaya
Jammeh.
Is it because of selfishness because you mean you are comfortable or is it
because you must have to, being a subject of the system or do you lack the
necessary political foresight to realize that this government is not grown up
to the problems of the Nation?

You are playing a very dangerous game Mr. Sey. It is, because you are creating
political enemies for yourself and that all because of a despot regime.

It is totally wrong to see the G-L as a podium for anti Jammeh groupings. For
me this forum is more than that. Obviously we cannot also keep quiet on the
political situation home. And it would even be better if the APRC will officially
try to clarify matters than antagonizing and branding List and its members.
Don`t you think too Mr. Sey?
Actually the opposition can sometimes be rough with the ruling party but you
have to exercise constraints and more of all maturity. It would not help us
either if people start debating on their qualifications. What helps Mr.
ambassador is for your regime to consider this list as serious and a contact
point for many Gambians abroad to most of whom you have no contact . A wise and
mature leadership will use this forum to prove to the people that you are
tolerant and transparent. Try to carefully but honestly explain issues where
you felt misunderstood and what you plan to do as a party. Then i wish to see
change in the leadership of my country but hope APRC continue to exist. So you
have a task too as a political party. After all you have inherited the "yai
groups" of PPP. You see Mr. Sey this are some of the reasons that one cannot
even take APRC seriously. You overthrow PPP because of the backward political
system but hardly is PPP out of the door and you take over their backward
political strategies. Yaya pretend to be Muslim only to maintain power cause
he knows how naive an average Gambian is especially about religion.

But if you were convince that the APRC regime is good for the Gambia then
lets start a small game. Make a list of the achievements of the regime for the
past six years and let us also make a list of the shortcomings of the regime and
we compare. I believe this would help to shed some light into the issue.

I don`t know Yaya Jammeh personally neither do i have anything against his
person as a living something but i know he is a political stooge. Such a person
cannot run a country democratically and progressively. It is for this reason
that i oppose this regime. Yes i am Gaya`s political enemy and all those who
support him.
I cannot and will never support or work for a regime that does not
have the betterment of her people at heart and deed. A regime that has no no
goals and therefore a systematic principles as to how to attain this goals has
no place in the present. Africa is backward because our leaders have mostly no
goals and principles, no strategies, no socio-economic and political foresight
to bring us further. It is no doubt that they are mostly intolerant to
criticism. What interests them is to be "Mansas" and hence remain one till you
die.

I ESSA BOKARR SEY called a mediocre by those i see ON THE Gambia L? Its unbeleivable! this shows how much hatred can breed!

Mr. Colley i hope you won't come back here to tell me about your long composition that some of your mates you giggle with consider a novel! "Hanaa kaye daedet waay" i hope NOT!

I was from Kuntaya village from a farming family that had nothing to do with politics! If decency or struggling through the hard way is a badge on this forum i am over-qualified to wear it okay! Try to find out OBJECTIVELY who i am or where i come from then you will know that i will be the lasssst!!!! person to succumb to your NONSENSE ON THE L OR ANYWHERE ELSE! Mr. Colley i do remember when you smashed Ndow Njie's picture in Paris and you said this:"these Jawara people hmmm but wait they'll know.." deny it today but The angels of God registered your words. You did that action in Paris all those who want to prove it can call OG SALLAH OR CAPTAIN SINGHATEH.

> My mission on this forum is to erase the subjective part of our debates and bring in the objective part! I can remember when some of you sent me private mails congratulating me IRO my poetry book.BUT for some, jealousy and angry political strategies have blindfolded them so much so that even if Charles dickens was to write here in favour of Jammeh he would be accused of using wrong structures, terminologies etc. Many are on line who knew me at school so it is suicidal for you or anyone to attempt to see my bad language! Language is my FIELD i was awarded good credentials from a good university ok!
