Did anyone else catch the $2,000 dalasi ransom will free one person?  Hmmm...

What's that about?

Methinks it's not just about witchhunting here, but just another way
to control and frighten the population.  It seems the ground work was
already being laid for this sorta thing by all of the chicainery with
Jammeh pretending ('cause tha'ts what it was), to cure all kinds of
illnesses and telling people that he could see the unseen.  He's just
trying to step his game up.  Because he knows that no one, or at
least, pretty much no one, is going to say anything.
