Subject: Engineering/Computer Science Fellowships in DC

Subject: TUITION SUPPORT (Graduate Level)

Howard University needs at least 2 EE/CS graduate students starting in Jan
2000.  Selected students would receive full tuition plus academic year
stipend of $1,200 - $1,500 per month, and summer salary of at least $2,400
per month.  Students are needed as research associates in two areas:

1) Wireless telecommunication

2) Image Processing

Students would participate in ATIRP an Army Fed Lab program involving HU,
MIT, UDEL, UMD, CCNY and Motorola, Lockheed, GTE and Telecodia (xBellcore).

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in leading edge research,
acquire a master's degree, and live in Washington, DC without financial
pressure.

Students must be U. S. Citizens, and have a strong background in EE or CS.
