Habib,

Anybody that is representing an entire country, make
it be the president, Minister of finance, education,
health or any other sector has to handle
himself/herself in a respectable and proffesional
manner. This should apply to both spouses and kids of
that person.

How would you feel Habib, if you are the Imam of the
entire Banjul and Serrekunda region...very well
respected by the people. You are preaching to the
people to be good muslims and how to act in public. If
your Son or Wife is acting completely opposite to what
you are preaching to the people, how do you think the
people will look at that. Also how would you feel
about that. This can ruin your entire repetition and
the message you are sending, Habib.

Badgie's wife should have known better to handle
problems with the husband privately at home, and not
to attack anybody in public. She should be old enough
to know that the problem is from her husband, and not
the woman she attacked. A humbled Muslim woman should
know this very well.

This is why I said that they should both be punished
for it. They are both representing the people of The
Gambia, and how they both act in public is a
reflection.

<P>Like you said this is definitely wrong for&nbsp;
this and embarrassing to all of them, although the
minister Badgie has the right to marry another woman
that&nbsp;was not the proper &nbsp;protocol and manner
to conduct himself especially in public.&nbsp; No woman
wants a mate ( sait) which is what Badgie
was&nbsp;doing&nbsp;( looking for another wife&nbsp;in
his wife's absence) and that &nbsp;explains Badgie's
wife human feelings&nbsp; &amp; reaction even if she
just came back from&nbsp;the holy land.&nbsp; The
fight was definitely uncalled and untimely
&nbsp;for&nbsp; all of them&nbsp; especially &nbsp;Nam
Ramzia should have known better than that&nbsp;.
Getting involved with a married man is dangerous - Ask
Monica Lewinsky for advise on that- she admited that
yesterday on Larry King show 2-28. </P></DIV>
<P>Yus , first giving the fact that all we have so far
is only from a news report , it would be fair to hear
the stories from all three parties plus the Police
before one concludes any opinion here. But again it
is&nbsp;their personal lives&nbsp;&nbsp;that must be
taken into consideration&nbsp; after all . I would
just call it a day and let them solve it or trash it
out privately. Again Yus ,you are right ,We do not
need any of this Tabloid material we have enough on
the table now.</P>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Hi People,
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;This is ridiculous, embarassing,
foolish and very
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;shameful for all of them including
Badjie himself.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I included Badjie because he should be
held
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;responsible for his wife's behavior in
public. With
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;his status in the public eye, he should
be able to
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;have an effect on the way his wife
should act or
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;represent him in public, so he should
be held
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;accountable as a parent is held
accountable for a
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;child's misbehavior.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Another thing that is terribly
embarassing is that
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;this incident is happening when people
should be
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;coming from the Holy Land...the house
of the Almighty.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;They are suppose to be humbled after
making such a
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;journey. Instead, what do they do?
Fight and use foul
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;language towards each other. I do not
know if she came
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;from the Hajj herself, but if she did,
I won't believe
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;that she have a hajj. Please let some
of our religious
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;leaders on the G-L help me out here.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;This woman is suppose to be the wife of
a respectable
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;person in our government. To act the
way she did on
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;this day is embarassing to the people
of the Gambia,
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Yahya's cabinet, Mr. Badjie himself and
Islam in
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;general. This lady did not show respect
to Islam nor
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;her husband.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I think both wife and husband should be
charged for
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;this embarassing incident to our
beloveth nation.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Thank you very much, and I hope both
Mr. Badjie and
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Yahya could read this. Somebody need to
be schooled
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;here.
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Gibby.
