Subject: [FriendsofSenegalGambia] MIT Open Courseware: Music of Africa


I've just started homeschooling my 12 yo daughter (long story, it was a
helacious fall), and as such I continue to be amazed at by the resources
that are available on the Web. For example, MIT recently announced
that it is making whole courses available online for
self-study...free! Reading lists, assignments, video and audio
clips...in an amazing number of fields. in browsing I just discovered a
course on Music of Africa. Check out the following link. Senegal is
one of the 4 areas covered.
