KB,
Thank you very much for the piece. You have said it
all. This MOJA-G people are nothing but opportunists.
Is it a syndrome among Jammeh sycophants that anyone
who cannot stand the moron was a former PPP member or
sympathizer? I have never support the PPP regime and
neither do I support Jammeh base on principles.
Despite my opposition to the PPP regime, you cannot
compare a child murder with Jawara. He was not an
excellent ruler but comparing with Jammeh, he is a
saint. It is really absurd to see so-called
intellectuals running their mouth everywhere in
support of a murder, what a shame. A friend of mine
use to tell me about the Gambian pride, but seeing
what am seeing, I guest he is talking about Gambia at
a different planet. PDIOS and MOJA-G use to be taught
on Jawara’s government but when Yahya came to power,
they all shut up. I can understand that since he
treathen to put anyone who criticize him six feet
deep, but on the same token why should you support
him. Everyone has the right to keep quite, but
support Jammeh is making him think that what he is
doing is right. Fellows, remember that not all those
who attend your political rally are there to support
you, some are there to measure the length of your
mouth. Do you Jammeh Sycophant realize that all of
you have contributed to the murdering of those
innocent kids since you support it, I will called
you’ll murders. There are lots of people in the
Gambia who do not support Jammeh but decide to keep
quite. There is nothing wrong with that, but siding
with him is making him thinks that everyone is ok with
what he does.
However, I am appealing to all the political
organizations and movements to do us a favor and keep
quite if they cannot tell the truth since they are not
doing the Gambia any good by criticizing the
opposition. Our common enemy should be Jammeh not
UDP. Darbo did not killed the kids. We have to have
a common enemy. Remember the Second World War.
Despite the US not getting along with Soviet Union,
they decided to come together to tackle Germany as the
common enemy. Collectively, they conquer Hitler. We
can take care of Jammeh in the same way, but if some
try to pursue selfish interest like MOGA-G, by
accepting Jammeh’s Job, then it will take us forever
to accomplish anything. It will just be like going
through a vicious circle. One Jammeh replaces
another. If we have to move forward, we have to come
together. The like of MOJA-G is really halting our
struggle.
Peace!
Simon.
