URGENT REMINDER:

Please come to this event tomorrow to make it a success in showing the world that Gambians are fedup with the Jammeh regime.  I understand that Amnesty is trying to be at the embassy door early so that the enbassy staff will still be there.  Gambians need to come early too.  Gather at the door by 3:30PM.

Amnesty International, USA is planning a demonstration at the Gambian embassy in 
DC on Thursday, July 29th, 2010 at 4PM.  This is conjunction with the "Gambia 
Day of Action" on July 22 that took place all over the globe.

Gambians interested in the affairs of the nation need to make all efforts to 
attend this demonstration to show that we care about what is going on in the 
country.  All are encouraged to try to make time for this important event.  We, 
the Gambians,  need to take the lead in such actions to show the international 
community that we are aware and not happy with the situation in Gambia.
