A Mandinka adage goes, "you can tell a neighbor not to butt into your
conversation but you cannot not tell him not to listen to your
conversation". First consolations to those of you on the either side of
this opposition debate. With that said it looks like this debate between
the two camps about the "should have", "could have", "would have" is
slowly turning into the war between the people of Lillitput and Blefuscu
over the correct way of eating a boiled egg (Gullivers travel).
Little do you realise that the boiled egg in question, the Presidency of
the Gambia for the next 5 years is eaten by Mr. Jammeh. And until the
two camps want to become perpectual Little Endians and Big Endians I say
it is time to ask your leaders to bury their hatchets and go back to
negotiation table else come January (National Assembly elections) they
will all be out of job for the next 5 years!
