TEETH BITE:GAMBIA'S INDEPENDENCE DAY A THING OF THE PAST!!!!!
Gambia's Independence day, is now becoming a thing of the past. It was on February 18, 1965, when we gained independence from Britain, our former colonial masters. In the streets of Banjul, today people don't talk about independence day.

Our national day had been traded with illegality. Under Yahya, July 22ND matters and not independence. This was the day, when they toppled the democratically elected government of Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara. This was the day when our nation was denied democracy. This was the day when poor soldiers robbed our national treasury. Yahya knows what we are talking about. His Continent Bank account number withheld for now, was in the red. Jammeh, was one of those poor soldiers who took over drafts from his uncle, cum brother Kawsu Gibba. For some reasons, Gibba decided to write up those over drafts taken by Jammeh.

         JAMMEH'S DEBTS STILL OUTSTANDING

Up to the time of piecing this teeth bite together, Jilanka had not paid those over drafts he took from the Continent Bank. This bank was later liquidated due to debts accrued by Yahya and others. A report released by a local accounting firm featured names of individuals and companies indebted to the defunct Continent Bank. Yahya was among those poor soldiers, who stormed the bank premises early morning scouting for over draft.

Gambians should not be surprised about his wealth. This man was from no where and as such he will not hesitate to sell The Gambia, just to realise his "millionaire" dream. Jammeh, believes in illegality and will show the British that February 18, was not our national day. He even said in the past that February 18, was not our independence day. He said the British left mosquitoes and poverty in The Gambia after "looting" our national resources. This statement of Jammeh is widely documented. Jilanka believes that his failed so called "revolution" was Gambia's independence. Little did the "Kanilai criminal" knows that this was a day when our freedoms and liberties were seized.

              GAMBIA COLONISED BY JAMMEH

It is sad that we are still colonised by Yahya and his repressive regime. July 22ND was not only "forced colonisation", but also slavery as well. Under Jawara's regime people can speak freely. But under Yahya is the reverse. His bully boys the "NIAS" arrest anyone who is critical of Jammeh. This was not what the British left with us on February 18. Jawara and his team were told to nurture the democratic goals, which was the order of the day. Why is Jammeh trying to down play this important national day of our nation? This is unacceptable. Millions of dalasis were spent on the day of illegality, July 22ND, when our own national day is not given the attention it deserved. The Queen must be shocked by this developments. Chei....Gambia. This man does not respect people's freedoms and liberties. His style of forced rule should be stopped in the interest of democracy.

UDP LEADER OUT, KEMESSENG IS STILL IN NADD

We still cannot understand the game lawyer Darboe is trying to play with NADD. The other day he says he resigned from NADD and yet Kemesseng and Yahya Jallow are still part and parcel of NADD. Remember, Kemesseng and Yahya are top guns of the UDP. How can the father migrate the leaving the sons behind? Is this what is expected of a good father? We are concerned. We hope Darboe will further clarify this serious state of affairs. The reason for his resignation was centred on lack of truth amongst the NADD leadership. A serious charge indeed. Who are these NADD officials Darboe was talking about? What have they done that might angered the son of Dobo?

                   THE BY ELECTION TALK!!!!

We learned that Yahya Jallow and Kemesseng are trying to legitimise the existence of NADD by rallying behind the coalition. This we were told will restrain the IEC from organising another by elections. Chei..... Darboe says he informed IEC about his resignation and was going to re-apply as UDP leader. His application was granted, which later led to the Brikama rally. There is no word yet as to whether he Ousainou had registered UDP as an existing political party. If he does, why is Kemesseng and Yahya serving as executive members under NADD? Jallow and Jammeh have all rights to be members of NADD, but the situation needs to be cleared for the sake of clarity. We do not know if these people are still answerable to their party leader. NADD, must clear the air to avoid speculations. Chei Jama.
