Brother Habib,
Let's try this.

The Gambia Colony and Protectorate: An Official Handbook
Author: Francis Bisset Archer
With New Introduction by J.M. Gray
Publishers: Frank Cass & Co. Ltd
First Printed 1906
New Impression: 1967

Brother Habib, overall the book says a lot about British rule in the Gambia
between 1820 to 1900.

Malanding
