The two Suras in the Qur'an known as the twin Suras,

namely Suratul An Nas ( Mankind) and Suratul Al_ Falaq (daybreak) are said
(by Prophet Muhammed SAS) to provide protection from all evils and dangers,
those inside of us, as well as those evils coming from outside, other sources
and people, if recited both in the morning and evening daily.

I am sending it to the list as a prayer for protection for all of us on this
Friday. Print and keep it, and recite it in the morning and evenings, and may
Allah guide us on the straight path. Ameen.

An-Nas (Mankind)

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Kind.

Qul a udhu bi Rabbi-n-nas
Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the people.

Maliki-n-nas
The King of the people,

Illahi-n-nas
The God of the people.

Min sharri-l-waswasi-l-khannas
From the mischief of the whisperer ( of evil thoughts)
who dissappear (after whispering)

Alladhi yuwaswisu fi suduri-n-nas
Who whispers (evil thoughts) in the hearts of people.

Min al-jinnati wa-n-nas
From jinns and from humans.

Al-Falaq (Daybreak)

Bismillah ir Rahman ir Rahim,
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Kind.

Qul a' udhu bi Rabb il-falaq
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak.

Min sharri ma khalaq
From the mischief of created things.

Wa min sharri ghasiqin idha waqab
And from the evil of darkness as it spreads

Wa min sharri-in-naffathati fi-l- uqad
And from the evil of those who blow on knots

Wa min sharri hasidin idha hasad
And from the evil of the jealous person when he shows jealousy

Ameen.
