My Dear Brother LJ Darboe,

If you read the first paragraphs of my yesterday's mail, I wrote for even the blind person to understand that the RULES OF DEMOCRACY MEAN WHE SHOULD ACCEPT THE RESULTS. Check to see if you think I am just giving an excuse.

You can also confirm that I CONGRATULATED the new Executive. Please check it to confirm.

I am not a hypocrite. I practice what I preach. So the above statements show that I accept democratic defeat in manners befitting my "class."

The GPU elections were for me OVER as of yesterday. What I do not like is if people think they can play with my Serene Highness and get away with it.

If at all the liars respected my request on NO BREAKING NEWS OF LIES ON THE QUESTIONING OF THE GPU coordinator with repeated lies (skype, etc), I would not have emailed the donors and partners, etc.

Of course the miscreants have disturbed my noble rest. I have to suspend my hibernation until August 2011 when I return to Africa.

I have been resisting pressures to get married and I told the matchmakers that they have to beat me up first to get me married. I need the hibernation to reflect on that.

Who would like to join them in beating me up to the altar? Any brave volunteers? Don't forget to run from my revenge, though!

Enough of the humor and I hope everybody has learned his or her lessons that betrayal is nasty, democracy or not.

Warmest,

NA KEBA NSABARITA LE SANYI...BARI AFO BADIGHOLUYEH KO IYEH NAFIKIYA BULA!

Prince B. Sankanu

Your Royal Highness

Esabari

I see no betrayal, no hypocrisy, in Ms Nday Tapha Sosseh's failure to secure election as the current President of the GPU. She submitted to a democratic process and failed to win. That outcome takes nothing from her profile as a person engaged in the struggle against intolerance in Gambia public space. I am sure she accepts her defeat in good faith.

Even without the suppression of her nomination until the very last minute, the fact she was away from the electoral battleground strongly suggests her odds of winning were too high.

I hope your Serene Highness accepts your "Jabiyong Ndey Tapha Sosseh's" defeat with the "class" befitting your princely status.

Sorry for disturbing Your Royal Highness' rest

LJDarbo
