Hi Mr. Colley,
Your piece has given me more insight into the machinations of the instruments
of terror that Yahya has created in order to consolidate his hold on power.
It  also seems as if you have more information than most.  Therefore, I
consider you a valuable asset to this Bantaba.

This said, though I would not be surprised if some of the soldiers were
killed because of their tribal affiliations, it seems as if the killings are
meted out to anyone that is considered a serious threat.  Furthermore, it
makes sense that the people that would challenge his positin would be those
from tribes that comprise the majority of our population, Wollof and
Mandinka.  For this reason, I would be a bit hesitant to say that these
soldiers wee killed strictly because of their tribal affiliations.

But this is besides the point.  Your article was very enlightening.  Kudos
for a job well done.
