Greetings Everyone,

Oko Drammeh I applaud you on your poetical verse.

Let's get giggy with this one -as a talking point.

"Emotions and folkore is the Black race
> Reason and science is the White race"

However in the context of emotions and folklore is the Black race, and
reason and science is the white race. This statement I would say is false,
no disrespect to LS Senghore. For if you know African history then you would
know that we invented the traffic lights, light bulb filament, inoculations,
gas masks, the door nobs, pens, railway signals, telephone transmitters,
stethoscopes, airconditioning units,airship variations,cellular phones
etc.(just to name a few) Not to mention the pyramids.

For within our emotions (the Black race) lies within them the energy for
creativity which is one of the hallmarks. Not forgoting folklore, our rich
oral tradition which links Africans across the world through songs and
music. Without oral history the white archaeologist will find Ancient
African bones in Egypt, but has no oral reference to piece together the
reality of African History without speaking to African people, whose Griots
can fill in the gaps, his science can't. With reason and science the white
race continues to spin illusions based on white lie without albias.(S.Ba
2000)

Oko Drammeh your quote from Senghore in this context seems to be a negation
of all the postitive contributions that the African race have made to the
world. What say you?

Peace Bro

Sister Omega.
