Infact, it was Falankoi Janneh who sent the references from the Qur'an. I
forwarded them on his behalf.
Regarding the "story" behind the prohibition, there is no story, just the
directive from the Qur'an which is the direct word of God as delivered to the
Prophet Muhammed (SAS) by the angel Gibril. Just tell whoever askas you
exactly that because that is really our source for the directive. The Qur'an
and Sunnah of the Prophet are the only sources of reference for belief as
well as how we do everything in our daily lives as muslims. May Allah
increase all of us in Iman.
