Buharry:

Good to read you on the L again. You have been in our prayers, and it is my
hope that you have now regained your normal routine.

By the way, I have just returned from Senegal and I have to tell you that
Senegambian singer, Musa Ngum, is doing very well there, of course,
musically I mean.

He has recently released two cassettes ("Goudi Ndakarou" Volumes 1 & 2) and
both tapes/albums are selling very well in Senegal. And FM radio stations in
Dakar play Musa Ngum's music a lot. In fact, while I was in Dakar, I saw him
being interviewed on "Sohna" FM radio and TV about his latest cassettes.

Top Senegalese percussionist Abdul Aziz Seck, formerly with Super Diamono,
is now a member of Musa's band - "Groupe Talibeeyi" - and that is a plus.
Maybe you should update Musa's web page (which you host) if you were to find
time.

Abdoul Njie Lekbi and Njok Malick: I met Mamadi Mbow, formerly a solo
guitarist with Thione Seck and now with Assan Njie, and he has asked me to
extend his warmest regards to the two of you. He spoke very highly of you
guys.

Awa Sey: I also met Ndey Fatou, one of your sisters in Dakar. In fact, I
spent my "Tobaski" with them and what an excellent cook she is!

By the way, I hope Mr Drammeh is not reading this, but I was at your
sister's house when Kabir Njie and Mai Sey phoned on "Tobaski" day. However,
given that the food was so delicious, I did not even ask to say hello to
Brother Kabir and wife.
