The NADD leadership meeting, has been adjourned once again. Parties to the meeting say a criteria had been set to establish the qualifications of the would be flag bearer. The meeting will resumes next week.
Independent Observer News Network Banjul correspondent, say after several hours of meeting, the leadership could not name a flag bearer Saturday. The coalition is yet to issue a Press release to update Gambians on the latest NADD situation. A coalition official told our reporter that they will issue a statement soon.
The opposition merger was as a result of growing demand for change in the West African country. The failure to name a flag bearer at this hour is sending negative signals to NADD supporters within and outside the country. Coalition leaders have appealed for calm, as they promised to find a lasting solution the leadership impasse.
