                 PAGAN

Pagan they call me
Liked them borned by a mother
Given the name of a father
A milieu and mold to be fathomed
The synthesis of the norm and named

Pagan they all call me
For failing to absord their memoires
The rhythms of their ancient rites
In the pathos of our morning riots
The conflict of our divergence

Pagan they call you
For downing their idols yonder
The impact of your edgeless dagger
Invading and dismantling darkness
Their liberation from inhibitive statutes

And pagan they call them too
Their scheming to rise tomorrow
In their bid to regain honour
By refusing to sell homage
An attempt to empower themselves

But pagan we be
In eyes with blinkers in their being
From minds languishing in stupor
Their bodies and relations in chains
Those makes of their circumstance
