I want to tell Tombong that I wish we could sincerely celebrate our
independence, but with a leader like Jammeh as our head of state, and the
condition that our country is in today, we Gambians do not really have
anything to celebrate at this time.
Rampant human rights abuses, corruption and and the worsening state of our
economy, not to mention the ever present threat to personal safety that hangs
over the head of any Gambian who dares to speak the truth,, are hardly the
stuff that celebrations are made of. But meaningless gestures are the
trademark of this regime, and this congratulatory message on our
"independence " is both a meaningless message as well as a mockery to all
Gambians freedom and justice loving Gambians everywhere in view of the state
of our nation.

Your excuses not to answer questions is not really unexpected, anything to
avoid the issues will do. I was quite certain that anyone who thinks they can
seriously carry on a productive discussion or actually have answers to
legitimate questions from you and the rest of the yes men and women of this
regime is wasting their time.

Your presence in this forum was, and continues to be to serve as a source of
distraction. You people manifest yourselves here every time the heat
intensifies on exposing the corrupt and inhumane ways of this regime, and
this charade at discussing issues is nothing but a stall tactic.

I am positive that this will not change despite all the fake appearances at
frankness and concern Tombong would like us to buy. I really think that it is
high time that you and your likes cease and desist from trying to pedal your
half baked propaganda on this forum becasue it simply is a insult to our
intelligence to even think that this kind of bogus attempt will get anywhere.

As I have said, and as I continue to say, if these guys answer the questions
we pose to them truthfully, it will be their undoing and no one knows this
better than they. Therefore, all we will ever get out of these people are
ready made excuses and irrelevant jargon. This has been proven time and
again, and labelling and acusing people of blinf hatred of Jammeh is too easy
a way out.

What is hated are lies, deceit, dishonesty and the cruelty and hard
heartedness of this regime, and their record speaks clearly for itself, and
continues to do so before the whole World, regardless of orchestrated
appearances on this forum by the shameless puppets of this cruel government.

Perhaps Tombong should also take time tell the likes of "Alieu Keita" and
all the masked aliases who have appeared here pedalling propaganda on behalf
of their boss, to use their real names. Afterall, serious people who have
legitimate and serious points to get across, and who do not answer questions
from people not using their real names should make sure that those who speak
on their behalf should clearly identify themselves instead of employing
deciet amd cowardice.

Gambia-lers, </DIV><DIV></DIV>As you are all aware today is Independence Day
and I wish you all a Happy Independence Day. I will not respond to all the

silly or childish to debate on and I will ignore

it clouds their judgements. I will not also respond to those who are just
