Kanja, Just in case I forgot to respond to your email. On April 9,10,11 ten
primary teachers from West Africa will attend a workshop in Accra to write
material about HIV and Aids to be used in schools. The two Gambian teachers
are Tida Manka Head of Janjang-Bureh Lower Basic School, and Louise Jatta,
of J C Faye Memorial School in Banjul. The worksho is being run in
conjuction with the Commonwealth Foundatrion and teh Ghana Association of
Science Teachers. The lady who isrunning it is Lynne Symonds, and the hope
is that by using people with experience of the levelconcerned, the teaching
materials will be relevant and useful.

My involvement is simply as agent to recommend two Gambians as my school (I
used to teachtill retirement) has a long term friendship with Armitage SSS
and we goout there regularly and they come here regularly.

All the best,

Mike Carrick of Bromsgrove near Birmingham, England.
