Sometimes I just wonder who President Jammeh is trying to impress or what
his foreign policy advisers are doing behind their desks.

While the tragic events of September 11 have shocked and disgusted all peace
loving people the world over, I think President Jammeh should have instead
declared a holiday for the 14 innocent Gambian children his security forces
murdered in broad daylight.

I think he should have instead asked for a national day of prayer for the
departed souls of Karamo Trerra, Mohammed Jawara and the other countless
souls who perished in the US on 09-11. Better still he can start by
arresting those who murdered Koro Ceesay, the school children, and other
innocent Gambians. That, I think, is the first step towards peace and
forgiveness.

Hamadi.
