Ngai,
Good question! I think our disgraced friend ( our teacher ) is abusing the word " myopic bigotry " because
he is not using it in the correct place. The word is becoming monotonous in this forum. To my understanding,
i think " myopic bigogotry " means a short-sighted person who holds an opinion obstinately, and is intolerant
towards those who disagree with him / her. I would be grateful, for any correction, if i am wrong. I think
our friend is using this word as an irony towards his bosses overthere. As Mr. Dampha has written in his
latest posting, these soldiers has stolen millions of dollars from the poor people, ruined our economy,
killed our brothers who were in the army, killed our children, kidnapped our brothers, keep on abusing the
inalienable human rights of our people and are still looting the economy of our country. Let them go back to
the camp. We got enough!
