When I need a break from the strains of life around me, I normally retreat
into some quite moments of cranial freedom. Many a times, such is the
result. Here's one I want to share with all. Read on with humor and I hope
you benefit from the therapeutic effect intended!

THE FUNGUS AMONG US

Destitute of the 'phyll for life
Choice? Non-but a saprophyte
Be you a single cell, Mycelium or
A system of entangled hyphae
Parasite! But what else be you?

Spongy morbid granulations
Live how else? A proud flesh of wounds
Amongst your fellow thallophytes
You are none but the sponge
Sphongos be you do better absorb the plunge.

The molds, the mildews, the rusts, the smuts
Puff balls or toadstools Oh what a parasite!
Only on animal flesh, where else to survive?
Thee fungi no awe! You are low down there!

"MAN MAA LEN JEPPI!"
