I hope it's alrught if we post this on Gambia-l since you posted it on the
Bush list. It's a real tragedy not only for Guineans but for Africa as a
whole.

I'm just from a four week vacation from Gambia and most of the youths talk
of nothing but how much they want to get out. Some even have very good jobs
and yet they want to leave the country. I told some of them that they are
much better than most of us abroad but they thought I was crazy.

I hope all leaders of Africa get to read this story and although it's a
tragedy, try to make something positive out of it.
