Basil,
    Once again you have struck the right chords here, especially the bit on
regional co-operation metamorphosing into an African Economic Community. Too
much debate has gone about Africa's economic woes, the solutions have been
suggested but as you intimated, it all boils down to "them ": Our 13th.
Century Sultans parading as modern leaders.
    Please keep the economic posting coming; it so refreshing and engaging.
