Thanks for the forward and also for taking the time to type it.  You know we
appreciate such unbiased efforts to provide us with the reallot truth about
how folks on the ground feel about issues.  For this, I salute you!  :)

However, the Reuters article I forwarded to the list yesterday explicitly
stated that the Media Bill was passed overwhelmingly by Parliament on
Thursday, May 3.  Do you know how the Parliament voted?  Who were the
objectors to this evil ploy aimed at muzzling the press? Did all APRC members
of Parliament vote for the bill?

  And finally since it si safe to assume that this bill is the brainchild of
Jammeh himself and put into motion by Joseph Joof, isn't it safe to assume
that the only recourse of the GPU is now through the high courts?  In other
words, Jammeh will approve the passage of this bill.
