Mr. Jallow,

I knew you must be on a vacation or something like that. I share much of
what you have to say. The case of Mr. Sallah is quite intriguing, because he
has done so many positive things in helping Gambians understand their
political rights etc. Yet, like all of us, he has a side that isn't very
laudable. But like you've rightly pointed out, any time someone raises a
question, he reacts in very ugly ways as if that will substitute for
reassuring people of his integrity. It only makes some of us wonder if all
is well.

I won't even worry about the Alpha Robinsons if I were you. They have this
ridiculous notion that any one who questions Mr Sallah is an enemy or is out
to sully his integrity. But, they're entitled to their opinions.

I'm in the process of writing a detailed synopsis of the gist of myself and
Hamjatta's questions for Mr Sallah. I hope he'll have the courage to answer
the questions in full - in truth, and nothing but the truth. It's in his
best interests to do that.

Saul.
