Your posting is the only reference to Jammeh claiming credit for sending
105  gambians on the Hajj I could find.
Do you have any additional information about this.
When this gentleman said that he was sending these people, did he mean only
that he was loading them on his plane and once they reached Saudi, they
were going to be responsible for finding their own accomadation and way
around?
Do you know what the original gift from the saudi government/people
covered? I feel that it would have involved more than just flying them and
leaving them to their own devices. But this seems to be all that Jammeh has
done.
Obviously Jammeh is hoping for a very long life which he must fill with
good deeds  to have any hope
of tipping the balance back from this
transgression. And then he has a few others to consider.
He obviously believes that any laws do not apply to him.
If this was a ploy to booster his re=election, neglecting to tell the
selected people until they arrived in Banjul that  they would have to
provide money to cover the rest of the costs, was not very smart.
Any more information about this, please list.
