dish just to get European transmissions is a testament to my love of the La Jogo Bonito, as the Brazilians call it. Anyway, I still do have a strong disagreement with you on your interpretation of Saul's piece.
There is no doubt in my mind that that Saul's whole piece was an attempt at stereotyping. His first statement were that this is the dawn of the 21st
century and African Americans can be divided into three groups: Blacks, Negroes and Niggers. Then he proceeded to categorically define each group. If this is not stereotyping then what is, OB? Unless you are unfamiliar with the definition, I fail to see how you were unable to recognize this fact when the words were right in front of you. But, of course, you are entitled to your own opinion which is quite baffling to me.
I still believe that you are not in a position to comment on race issues in America. You happened to come here once and had one bad experience. This
surely means that you are not in a position to condone any of his sterotypes especially that of the "Nigger." Yes, there are race issues in
Norway, but the issues there are quite different from those that we have here. So you definitely cannot speak with authority on the categorizations that were
made.
You also likened me to a puppet master. However, this was way off base since I have seen many different views on this forum and, until now, I have never
chastised or belittled anyone for their views. But when I see bigoted views, it is imperative of me to express my opposition.
I still think Saul is a bigot and that you are biased in your opinions because you have failed to recognize an obvious case of stereotyping. But this being said, you are entitled to your own opinion and there is nothing I can do about this. To add, you still have not answered my question on why the use of the word was justified.
I would like to put an end to this chapter since I have already raised quite a ruckus about this wholoe sordid affair. Hopefully, we can discuss other issues, especially soccer, with the African Nations Cup almost here.
