Martin Luther King Jr. Rally and March

Monday, January 20, 2003

Garfield High School
400 23rd Ave at E Jefferson

Workshops 9:30 a.m.
Rally 11 a.m.
March Noon, Garfield to Federal Building
Followed by brief Rally

The No War Against Iraq Coalition urges antiwar activists to all turn
out for this year's Martin Luther King Day celebration.

Let's be there in force to join with the African American Community in
its opposition to the war, and support the national days of protest in
DC and San Francisco at the same time.

War will have a disproportionate impact on the Black community, in
combat deaths, cuts in social services and ongoing racial profiling and
incarceration of African Americans. Let's stand in solidarity on these
issues and build a strong march

Stop by the No War Against Iraq Coalition information table on Monday
morning. We will gather at the south end of Garfield Pool after the
Garfield rally to march as a contingent.

For info call 206-523-1720.
