Hello folks,
Days ago the Gambia-L management team sent you a questionnaire to help it
understand how you feel about aspects of the Bantaba. We promised to send
you feedbacks. First we thank all those who took time to respond. We
appreciate it very much. Over the next weeks and months we will be working
very hard to bring you analysis of the survey. Until then we would like to
bring you comments and recommendations from some of the respondents. Please
note that the comments are not edited to avoid mis-representation. We will
like to hear your reactions and thoughts.Thank you.

Malanding Jaiteh

Respondent 1:
I know itīs impossible, but I should like that people operate under correct
name, identity. Meaning that people which identy is not established should
not be allowed to post to the list, only read.
If so I should would say that the L would reflect Gambia positively, be an
authoritative source of information, be informative etc. I think it was
before. But after some gambians has turned the L to become propagandistic
(for or against the sitting government), turned it to their political
platform, where they applaud one another in public (which could be done
privately) and pick on those who donīt agree with them, the L is not so good
anymore. There are not many different topics or issues to debate. There are
some people (who act under alias) who strangle all attempts to make the list
discussing other things than politics.
