Welcome to the Electronic age! We all have to take the precautions listed on
the slides, because in reality there is no fool-proof method of protecting
one self. I took a course on the Internet and E-Commerce last summer, and
the professor PROVED to us that for only $95, you can access private info on
anyone in the US by using different types of criteria: Last name; locality,
SSN etc. To get the info, you just have to know where to look. So,
bottomline: there is so such thing as absolute security nowadays! You just
have to pray not to be some crook's target.
