Yerro,
I wish you all the best in whatever you are going to
be doing next that had to made you sign off the List.
You have been an inspiration to some of us and I must
say that you have done a very good job. The Gambia L
has benefitted a lot from the other side of the story
and your patience in putting your points across cannot
be under estimated. Despite all the obstacles it takes
in this forum to post anything pro-government, folks
like you and Gassama kept your heads up and did all
you could under the circumstances. You have been
called all sorts of names here, and that did not keep
you away.
I certainly salute you. I hope one day when you have
time and conditions permit, you will come back. I have
witnessed here where your family was brought into
discussions and you ignored all of that and continued
to do what you could.
I have no doubt that what ever you are up to, you
ceratinly will succeed. Just remember where and how
far you are from and that will guide you through.
Reading the news that the US government has just
normalized relations with home, is a sigh of relief. I
am sure the Embassy here must be doing a very good job
and if it happens that a change of guard has to occur
as it is rumored on the Gambia-L, you will be more
than welcomed here. And I am sure you will no doubt
succeed here too and continue with what is being
pursued already.
I wish you and the family all the best. You will
certainly be missed.

Ousman Jallow Bojang.
