Bro Amadou Sallah,

I really love this one. Unfortunately, it is difficult to infuse a time line there as you have completely left out dates.
Besides you also forgot to mention our Kora virtuosi: the Jobartehs, the Susos, and many others. Why, Butay Boy or Jalang Demba(!) must also belong in this line of musical icons. This realisation is important for guys like Salifu Mboge, Sal Drammeh (Oko Drammeh's baby brother) and myself whose childhood musical taste was messed up by James Brown and Jimmy Cliff and Shola Lewis at Radio Syd!

Thanks a ton for the history...
Momodou S Sidibeh
