"Maybe, some psycho-analyst could look at these behavioral patterns in an
attempt to understand the factors that trigger such mental behavior.
Africa's gloom and doom have been hastened by no other people than her own
children. The advent of a free society in The Gambia and other parts of
Africa will be a dream until our people cease to worship their leaders."
Hamadi, I agree. You and I or anyone on the list cannot answer that
question...."What on earth is making them do this?"
What we can do is to analyse their actions, disect their behavior and bring
it out in the open with the hope that we and others, young and older can
learn from it. We will undoubtedly become a better nation by getting rid of
such a breed; discouraging such behavior. We need better role models for
our brothers and sisters. Not outright prostitution of the intellect.
There are thousands of honest and precious Gambians out there. This group
of prostitutes is relatively small and we know who they are, what they do
and how they do it. Let's keep our hope high.
