Yerro,
Thanks for the forward. I remember Mr. Jagne well. I was in Form 6
during the Sommers/Jagne transition although I must confess that I did
not stay long enough to learn about his poet side of things.

I am glad you proved both wrong. In any ways, here is a tribute for you and Dr. Jaiteh. The poem is written by HI. Jagne, probably one of your teachers at Gambia High School. Kindly accept my appreciation of your contributions always. This is also dedicated to all other educators, here and everywhere. I look forward to a review of this book from you in the near future as time permits you. I hope I am not asking too much. I just love that hand of yours, dribbling, and left to right. Poor Yero!! & kindly excuse my joke, associating you with Chakri. I know better that Joe especially needs that Chakri more than me. Oops! Is it more trouble for poor me?

As the academic year draws to a close, those strings are beginning to loosen and I hope to be back on our great lists soon. Baba> > Hi Mawdo Galleh,> > I have seen Joe Sambou and DA Jawo pin the Chakri strings on you time and again. (Oops!) I hope it is not holding you there? (Jokes!) The strings will better grease loose now. Any ways, missing your threads...and we are starving again. I choose to make it a public e-mail, so the same respect is extended to all the silent ones, hopefully to hear from you soon, as time permits you.> > Kind regards & love,> YJ> >
